Step by step instructions on how to close your above ground pool.
Inground pool winterization is not as easy as an above ground pool would be, so no instructions are available here. It is a good idea to have a professional pool company close your pool the first time so you can watch and see how the lines are blown out, and antifreeze is added. There are a few specialty items, like a high powered blower, that some homeowners do not have on hand that must be used to close a pool. It is very important that winterization be done properly so your shallow plumbing lines do not freeze and break. It can be very costly to fix freeze damage under the ground.
If you are having problems with your spa, and would like to do some preliminary tests on your own, we highly recommend going through the following guides, they have solutions to some of the easy problems, including spas surging, not heating, or lights flashing on the control panel. Please note that these troubleshooting guides are specific to Hot Spring spas and their subsidiary product lines.
